The next generation won’t know about our industry unless we show them what’s possible.

That’s the purpose behind the SC&RA Foundation’s Workforce Ambassador Program, equipping industry professionals and companies to introduce students to careers in crane, rigging and specialized transportation through meaningful local engagement.

From classroom visits and career days to field trips and community events, Workforce Ambassadors help put our industry in front of students as they begin thinking about their futures.

And we’re taking that mission to the national stage! 📍 October 21–24, we will be in Indianapolis for the National FFA Convention & Expo, helping build awareness of the rewarding career paths available throughout our industry.

You don’t have to wait for a national event to make an impact. Become a Workforce Ambassador and help bring these opportunities to students in your own community.

Investing in skills strengthens our entire industry. 🏗️

Through the SC&RA Foundation’s Partner In Education Scholarship, our partnership with CICB is helping industry professionals access valuable training opportunities with 50–100% tuition coverage.

CICB has donated more than $60,000 in training courses, creating opportunities for participants to advance their knowledge and skills in areas including:

▪️ Mobile Crane Operation
▪️ NCCCO Certification Preparation
▪️ Rigger Level I & II
▪️ Signal Person Training
▪️ Lift Director Preparation

For employers, this is another resource to help develop your workforce, strengthen critical skills and invest in the people who keep our industry moving forward.

The SC&RA Foundation’s 40 Schools Workforce Challenge is getting closer to the finish line!

Our goal is to reach 40 schools in 2026 in celebration of 40 years of impact—and we need industry companies and schools to help us get there.

By accepting the challenge, you can:

💰 Help a participating school receive a $500 mini-grant

🎓 $3,000 toward what’s next.

For Caleb Schott of Nampa, Idaho, that means investing in the training that can help move his career forward.
