Centreville Immigration Forum and Centreville Labor Resource Center will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in observance of Juneteenth.

Juneteenth honors the liberation of enslaved Black people in the United States, marking the day in 1865 when freedom finally reached Galveston, Texas — more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

We pause to honor Black freedom, resistance, and the ongoing struggle for racial justice that connects all of our communities.

We stand in solidarity with Black communities as we continue to build a world where all people — regardless of race, immigration status, or background — can live with dignity, safety, and freedom.

Regular hours will resume on Friday, June 20.
