The Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) offers a dozen recreational sports to children in southwest

SYA offers softball in Centreville, Clifton, Fairfax and Chantilly in Fairfax County, Virginia. Our recreational league (house program) plays both spring and fall seasons. Girls from Pre-K to 12th grade are welcome, regardless of ability or previous playing experience. Xplosion is our competitive travel program with teams from 10U through 18U.

Our Story

The Southwestern Youth Association (SYA) offers girls fastpitch softball in the spring and fall. Our recreational Little League program is open to all girls from ages 7 through 16, regardless of ability or previous playing experience. Younger girls would participate with the boys in our Little League baseball program from ages 4-6. SYA also operates the Xplosion travel softball program at https://www.syasports.org/xplosion-fast-pitch-softball.
