Historic African American Cemetery Est. 1868
Land deeded in the Harris District of Fairfax County.

The land was Purchased from Alfred Ball by Jesse Harris who then donated the land for the purpose of family burials. Located at the end of unpaved Naylor Road, Cub Run Memorial Garden is about one-half mile east of Bull Run Post Office Road (Route 621), not far from the Bull Run and Cedar Springs areas of Centreville. From Bull Run Post Office Road, the cemetery may be accessed by proceeding east

on graveled Naylor Road about 0.2 mile through the trees to a clearing and then between two farmhouses. At the edge of the clearing there is a gate which is posted with no trespassing signs and warnings of fi****ms in use. The cemetery is at the crest of a hill about 0.35 mile beyond the gate. A bricked-in sign on the hillside near the road marks the entrance to Cub Run Memorial Garden, named for the creek which cuts through the countryside to the east and south.
