There will be a lot of kids walking and trick or treating. Please slow down and watch for them. The subdivisions,around court square and Bibb Wellness center. They are focused on getting candy and not watching for cars. Be alert, Happy Halloween 🎃 🎃

I saw a honorable gesture yesterday. We assist with es**rts of funerals here in Bibb County. All departments assist in respect to the family. When people see a funeral hearse behind an es**rt, people will pull to the side of the roadway in respect. This happens with smaller vehicles, buses, all the way to loaded 18 wheel trucks. They show respect and has for many years. Yesterday while on Hwy 382 there was a power line crew setting new poles. When they saw this, they stopped working and removed their hard hats and did not move until it passed, showing respect to the family. This is a small gesture, but to the vehicles that were in line as passing the linemen, It meant much more to them than people know. I mentioned this today to someone and they to saw what these guys did. Its the little things that can make the most impact on someone.
