Friendship Celebrate Recovery

Friendship Celebrate Recovery The Mid Missouri area offers the Celebrate Recovery Program as an added tool for all types of recovery.

Christ-centered, 12 step recovery program for anyone with hurts, habits, & hang-ups

This includes a place for teens and children for family and individual recovery. We believe people that participate in our programs simultaneously, will receive powerful tools to use, in living a sober lifestyle and learning a new way to live. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the

Beatitudes. Along with the Celebrate Recovery Program we offer Celebration Place for Children and The Landing for Students 6th grade – High school. Celebration Place & The Landing mirror the Celebrate Recovery one-year, large group teaching schedule and curriculum plan. This means that while adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, their kids are discovering the same truths in age-appropriate ways! (We require that a parent/guardian be attending the Main Celebrate Recovery Group)

Have you been thinking about attending Celebrate Recovery, but fear of the unknown keeps holding you back?

Maybe you’ve wondered…

What happens when I walk through those doors?
Will I know anyone?
Will I have to talk?
Will people judge me?
Do I even belong there?

Here’s what we want you to know:

❤️ The newcomer is the most important person walking through our doors.

We remember what it felt like to walk in for the first time. The nerves. The uncertainty. The temptation to turn around and go home.

You don’t have to have everything figured out.
You don’t have to tell your whole story.
You don’t even have to know exactly why you’re there.

You just have to take that first step through the door.

Come as you are. We’ll be glad you came. ❤️

One of the biggest misconceptions about Celebrate Recovery is that it’s only for people struggling with alcohol or drugs.

The truth is… Celebrate Recovery is for anyone with hurts, habits, or hang-ups.

Maybe your struggle isn’t addiction. Maybe it’s:

💙 Anxiety
💙 Anger
💙 Codependency
💙 Control
💙 Fear
💙 Depression
💙 Grief
💙 Shame
💙 People-pleasing
💙 Perfectionism
💙 Pride
💙 Relationship struggles
💙 Past trauma

We all have something we need God’s healing from.

Celebrate Recovery isn’t about labeling people, it’s about finding freedom through Jesus Christ in a safe community where no one has to walk alone.

Recovery is for everyone because we all need Jesus.

Theme: Freedom in Recovery

July 6

Freedom Isn’t Pretending You’re Fine

Independence Day reminds us of freedom, but in recovery, freedom often starts with honesty.

Not the polished kind.
The real kind.

“I’m struggling.”
“I need support.”
“I’m not okay today.”

Freedom is not pretending everything is fine so others feel comfortable.
Freedom is being honest enough to let healing begin.

Some days that looks like texting your Sponsor before you isolate.
Some days it looks like telling your Accountability Partner the truth.
Some days it looks like showing up to a meeting tired, tender, and still willing.

You don’t have to perform wellness.
You are allowed to practice honesty.

✨ Try this today:
Name one thing honestly, even if only to yourself first.

💬 Let’s talk:
Where are you learning to trade pretending for honesty?
