Centralia Women's Network

This organization was started several years ago by a group of local women who felt like we could make a difference in the community we live in as well as in the lives of our members. We are a group of many talents and lots of enthusiasm, and all of us love Centralia too. We are organized under the (Centralia) Chamber of Commerce, but have separate officers and our own bank account. Funds are raise

d through annual dues, but mostly our biggest fundraiser which is called "Carry On". This is a silent auction of unique purses, totes, baskets, etc. that are donated by members and area businesses. This event is held annually. We offer scholarships each year to students of Champion Academy, the alternative school in Centralia. We also support wonderful programs our schools provide, SMART and LIFT. We donate hats, gloves, clothing, and supplies to the schools for children who need them. We also do many things "under the wire" for women who need help with things that pride gets in the way of. Our group supports and celebrates Centralia women in business as many of our local shops are owned or managed by fantastic women of all ages. We promote each other because we can and we are worth it, and if we don't sing our own praises who will?? We encourage you to join our group and meet women of all ages in our community, we think you will enjoy our diversity and our friendships.
