Monday evening was the spring sports program and there was much to celebrate across all spring sports.
For the track and field teams, the girls and boys were both conference champions, district champions, and the boys tied for 3rd at state and the girls took 8th at state.
There were several new school records set as well.
If was another fun and successful season and we want to thank all the athletes for their hard work and dedication. Thank you to a great senior class that has made a big impact on this program for the past 4 years.
We also want to thank the coaches for their leadership and guidance and especially Coach Sontheimer as he retires as T&F head coach.

2026 MSHSAA State Track & Field Meet Recap
First off, Happy Memorial Day as we honor the fallen.
Here is an overview of this past weekend's state track meet.
It was a great weekend for the Centralia Panthers. Of course not every event ended like the athletes would have liked, but it was still a great effort given by all. Day 2 brought as much success as day 1 culminating in a 3rd place team finish for the boys and an 8th place finish for the girls. Here are the final results:
