Minga Girls Night Out for a Cause In a small village in Ecuador when someone needs help the community calls a MINGA. Growing is great!! Then we learn about the cause.

Everyone in the village pitches in to help the person in need in whatever way they can. I have put my own spin on a MINGA which is essentially a GIRLS NIGHT OUT for a CAUSE. Our group meets 3-4 times a year and we pick a different cause each time. It is such a great way to raise our awareness of all the different needs of our community and how we can help. We meet at my home but that will probably

change since my home can only hold about 50 comfortably and at our very first meeting there were 30. Everyone brings appetizers, beverages and friends. So that covers the fun girl social time. We usually have a speaker that shares the needs and then we give whatever amount of money we feel inspired to give. Then it's back to social time. This is such an amazing event to be a part of. I truly believe we are here to give. I also truly believe we are here to celebrate life. That is a true MINGA!

Our 2nd MINGA was FANTASTIC! Thanks you ladies for sharing in such an inspiring evening! We were able to bring in 675.00 for Harmony Hill. After listening to the founder Gretchen Schodde speak, I realized a couple of cool things . First how truly blessed we are to have such an AMAZING resource available to us and second when you have a "calling" deep inside yourself if you listen divine synchronicity comes in and works with you to create something AMAZING. I am so grateful:)

This cool girl is who inspired our MINGA ladies! Thanks Krista!

Being courageous doesn’t always involve dramatic heroism. Sometimes, as in the case of Mary Ratto, it takes the form of quiet perseverance.
