"What makes something better is the connection"

This isn't even a 'Christian' video or perspective, but it is a human one. Empathy creates authentic connections and relationships where truth is spoken and love abounds. Sympathy tells people to 'get better' and climb up out of your problems. Grace climbs down and meets them there and loves them. In this world of hurt, Empathy or sympathy? What do you think? We have been going through a book called "Commit." in Sunday School, and this article fits perfectly with the conversation we started last week (and are continuing this Sunday at 10:00 am) about our church hopping mentality as Christians in America. Are we just at church for what we can get out of it? Or are we committing to a church as a family of people who love one another, serve and worship God together? A question we should all ask ourselves! Take a look at this article and join the conversation!

Are we are becoming a society of selfish Christians who we base our reasons for staying in or leaving a church on the question “what’s in it for me?”

A song we love to sing in worship...what do you think? Should we stop singing it? Should we keep it as part of the Journey? Get your brains going and tell us what you think!

Have a great day! Much love!

If you are in a contemporary worship church, then you probably sing it. If you listen to Christian radio or keep up with the CCM world, then you probably know it. And you probably love it. I do too.
