Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Foundation

Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Foundation Lt. Zilinski was killed in action in Bayji, Iraq on November 19, 2005. His legacy lives on.
(1)

His life of service was short, 23 years because he believed that ultimately the fighting in Iraq was protecting his fellow citizens in this great nation of ours. Our Memorial Foundation sponsors five events during the year and will continue to solicit local businesses and citizens in order to raise resources needed for scholarships and support of wounded military personnel, as well as supporting o

ur troops serving overseas. Our organization remains a 100% volunteer organization with no paid salaries. All funds earned are used to fulfill our mission to "provide support to improve the morale and welfare of the members of the United States Armed Forces and their families". Contributions have been made to various 501(c)(3) organizations that furnish prosthetics, clothing and handicap construction to wounded soldiers upon their return home.

🇺🇸 A Sea of Red, White & Blue: Thank You, Holmdel! 🇺🇸

Driving down Crawfords Corner Road this Fourth of July, it was impossible not to feel a sense of pride. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, 56 custom American flags created a breathtaking patriotic display honoring our nation's upcoming 250th anniversary.

We are deeply grateful to Marina Ackerson for bringing this vision to life and to the many residents, businesses, veteran families, civic organizations, and community leaders who sponsored flags and helped make this project such a success.

Every flag sponsorship supports the Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski II Memorial Fund, helping us continue our mission of serving our nation's military members, veterans, military families, and providing student scholarships in Lt. Zilinski's honor.

Thank you to everyone who sponsored a flag, volunteered, or simply stopped to admire the display. Together, you created something truly special that reminds us all of the power of community and patriotism.

The flags will remain on display for approximately one month before being returned to each sponsor as a keepsake. Thank you, Holmdel, for making this a celebration to remember.

🇺🇸 God Bless America, and God Bless Holmdel.🇺🇸
