Please help a local teacher with a Historical Project!

Central Point’s grand old cedar trees at CPE are turning 100! To commemorate, we’re attempting to get them listed as Oregon Heritage Trees, but we could use your help. Our application will be stronger if we can get more info about the trees or the Girl Scout troop that planted them in 1927:

The two stately Deodora [sic] Cedar trees that grace the entrance today were planted in 1927 by the Girl Scout Troop of which Mrs. Merle Obenchain was a member.

This darn rain!
Unfortunately, tonight's Mixer at the Medford Rogues baseball field has been cancelled due to rain. The Rogues are sad to miss out on the fun but are committed to scheduling another night for our members to come out and enjoy some baseball together — so stay tuned for that!

In the meantime, we hope to see you at our June Greeters hosted by American Family Insurance on Tuesday, June 16th!
