Palmer Youth Sports Association is our next 2nd quarter grantee!

Funding was awarded to help purchase new backstops and field drags for the ballfields in Palmer. Between youth baseball and softball programs, approximately 250 local youth will benefit from these improvements, helping keep the fields safe and game-ready throughout the busy summer season.

Silver Creek Township Library is our next 2nd quarter grantee!

Funding was awarded to assist with the replacement of the library’s heating and air unit. This project will help ensure the library continues to serve as a comfortable and welcoming space for community members throughout the year.

Our next grantee is Palmer Public Library!

Funding will help support the library’s Summer Reading Program kickoff featuring Wildlife Encounters and six live animals! The event is designed to encourage reading, curiosity, and summer learning while creating a fun experience for local families and youth. The library is hoping to welcome approximately 70 attendees to the event this summer.

Opportune Acres is our next 2nd quarter grantee!

Funding was awarded to support Assisted 4-H programming in Merrick County as well as the launch of an adaptive horse show at the Nebraska State Fair. These opportunities help create more inclusive experiences for riders with disabilities and their families while encouraging confidence, connection, and participation through agriculture and horsemanship.

Our next grant winner is — the Todd Williams Art Workshop at the Merrick County Historical Museum!

Grant funding will help support a special workshop led by world-renowned artist Todd Williams. The event will provide a unique opportunity for both adults and local students to learn directly from an accomplished artist right here in Merrick County.
