Waiting is where faith becomes necessary because a God of instant gratification requires no faith. It is in the "gap moments" of silence and delay that our trust is truly tested, allowing spiritual transformation and patience to develop beneath the surface.

Our struggles often lead us away from our source, which is the Lord. We think we have all of the answers and have it figured out on our own. We don’t know how to ask people for help or advice and we keep trying to get past our problems and figure everything out on our own. Each wrong turn and dead end should’ve brought us closer.

Remember, God is our source. Call out to him with humility. He will meet you where you are.

In good times, worship. In bad times worship.

If we back up a few verses before Isaiah 25:1 we will see that Chapter 24 describes a time of severe, worldwide divine judgment. Because of human sin and rebellion, the earth is laid waste and thrown into chaos. In the middle of this universal destruction, Isaiah shifts his focus to a faithful remnant who continue to trust God despite the terrifying circumstances.

Isaiah 25:1 teaches us the importance of unwavering trust in God, whose ancient plans are rooted in perfect faithfulness and truth. It models how believers can offer deliberate, personal praise—even in uncertain times—by recognizing God’s sovereign control and His enduring reliability.
