Look who's back!! Please join me in welcoming home Paige Wolf. Sgt Wolf was part of the most recent batch of soldiers that returned home on Saturday in Des Moines. Paige served as a Paralegal administrator for just over a year. Please pause for a moment and thank those who returned safely back to their family and those that are serving and those that are still deployed.
Welcome home Paige, there's a beverage of your choice at Wapsie Post 421 bar.

It is difficult to put into words the gratification and appreciation I have for this community. I will do my best to recognize all who make this American Legion Post stand proud.
Wapsie Central City American Legion Post 421, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 421, SAL Wapsi Post 421. 3rd Fire District for dedicating personnel and equipment to es**rt us through town during their busiest event of the year. Central City High School band and football. We raised over 150 flags throughout 4 cemeteries in a short amount of time with the assistance of Wildcat football players. The Band performed in outstanding fashion on the bridge and at Oak Hill cemetery at the direction of Josh Morey. This year's raffle we attempted to keep it all in town. The sh***un was donated by Mark Rochford, $500 gift card provided by Hometown Market, $250 gift card provided by Parlor on Main and $250 gift card provided by Beanies.
I want to thank all of the supporters of Wapsie Post 421 who line the streets to give us a wave, who purchase raffle tickets, play bingo, come in for a beverage, or share a meal with us once a month. We CAN NOT do it without you.
