Scarecrow Alley will be up for a few more weeks, so be sure to stop by the 1856 Country Store to pick up a map! Dolly has a show on the 25th, so make sure to check her out before then.

Wow! We ran out of pumpkins by 12:15pm! 🎃

All 75 pumpkins disappeared in a flash! What a wonderful turnout for our pumpkin decorating and face painting event.

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers: Phyllis, Katie, Sean, Deb, Tom, Karen, the Troop 54 Scouts, and the COMM Fire Department for stopping by and delighting the kids!

We are also so grateful to Joanne O’Connor and the sisters from the 1856 Country Store, Katie Ten Broeke, Osterville Mercantile, Centerville Paint, and the Town of Barnstable for their generous contributions and support in making this event such a success.

Thank you to everyone who helped, donated, and came out to join the fun. Seeing the smiles on the children’s faces made it all worthwhile!

Free Family Pumpkin decorating today! 🍂
Behind the Recreational Building at the Centerville playground

This year’s Village Fest has been scaled back a bit, with both Osterville and Sandwich hosting events today, but our little village is still bustling with fall fun!

We have plenty for the kiddos to enjoy, including: Free pumpkin decorating , Face painting, Candy Apples and refreshments, trinkets to take home with their pumpkins

🛍️ On Main Street: Stop by the 1856 Country Store for their Annual Sidewalk Sale!

💐 Phyllis and Katie are out peddling beautiful cut flowers and CCA mugs. Proceeds to benefit the Centerville Stroll in 12/6.

🌾 Scarecrow Alley Winners Announced at 12 PM! Join us outside the Country Store to find out this year’s winners.

I just love seeing families walking and driving along the route, enjoying all the wonderful scarecrows and the spirit of our little village.

Come join us, support our local community, and enjoy a little fall magic. We may be keeping things a bit smaller this year, but there’s still plenty of heart and hometown charm!
