Good morning, we invite you to participate in a community spring clean-up event at the Centerville Recreation Building's front gardens on Sunday, June 14th from 9:30 to 11:30 am.

Tasks: weeding, hydrangea pruning, annual planting, watering, washing the fence, painting the community info board, and sweeping the parking lot and sidewalks.

The Beautification Committee aims to prepare the area for the upcoming playground ribbon-cutting ceremony.

If you want to participate and physically cannot, you can contribute by joining the welcoming committee by distributing water and donuts. Many hands make light work!

The focus area includes the garden beds and fences at the front of the building. The building is important to our community and let's make her shine.

SIGN-UP Deadline: Tuesday, June 2nd at 2PM
PICK-UP: Thursday, June 4th..
PLACE: Hyannis Youth and Community Center
TIME: 4:30 - 5:30 PM drive through format

Join us! The next members meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 8th at 6:00 p.m. at the Centerville Library, lower level.
Kelly Collopy from the Department of Public Works will provide a comprehensive update on the Centerville Village Sewer project, including its timeline. A Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Relevant materials will be available for attendees, detailing loan programs and homeowner expectations. Everyone is invited to attend and encouraged to bring their neighbors.

CHANGE of PLANS!
Memorial Day Parade In Barnstable Pivots To Indoor Ceremony. Centerville Village

The Memorial Day celebration in the village of Centerville will take place inside the church where the parade was to begin. The parade’s organizer will instead hold a ceremony inside South Congregational Church, 565 Main St. – where the parade was scheduled to begin.

The ceremony is also slated for 10 a.m.

At times, we fail to recognize the true beauty of our town and the contributions of past generations in keeping its historical significance alive. 49 homes listed in the Historic District and on the National Register of Historic Places as well as Massachusetts Historic Registery.

The completion of the sewer project will alter the appearance of Main Street, and certain our community can maintain its stewardship traditions.

Volunteers needed!
Please do not forget that this Saturday at 10 AM is the opening ceremony at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
After the opening ceremony, we will be putting flags on over 75,000 graves. Please attend. Families, scouts and school groups welcome.
