We are thrilled to share that Historic Centerville has been awarded a grant from the Indiana Historical Societyto help fund a long-overdue wood shake roof replacement on our beloved log cabin!
This important preservation project is another step in protecting one of Centerville's most treasured historic landmarks for future generations. Thanks to our partnership with Chomel & Sons, we are ready to begin the work.
But before construction can start, we need a little help from our wonderful community.
To safely bring equipment and crews into the courtyard, several trees need to be professionally trimmed back. Our goal is to raise $3,000 to cover this necessary preparation work and keep the roof project moving forward.
Every donation, big or small, helps preserve a piece of our local history. If Historic Centerville and the log cabin hold a special place in your heart, please consider contributing to this project.

A huge thank you to the Indiana Historical Society for selecting Historic Centerville as a recipient of a Heritage Support Grant! ❤️

We are incredibly grateful for this funding, which will help us repair the wood shake roof on the historic Salisbury Courthouse.

This is a BIG step toward preserving this special piece of our community’s history, and we couldn’t be more excited to get started!

We’ve made the decision to cancel this year’s Ladies’ Tea Party. Our board is currently juggling some exciting life changes, and we want to be sure we can give this event the time and energy it truly deserves.
We’re already looking ahead to next year and can’t wait to bring it to life with you then!

Our 148 year old steeple needs restoration! We hope our Centerville Community can help! This Summer, we will hold an online auction to raise funds to match a generous grant from Sacred Places Indiana, a program of Indiana Landmarks.
