If you're looking to lose weight in a healthy, sustainable, and enjoyable way, this Chapter is for you! If you're trying to feed your family a more nutrient-dense diet, this Chapter is for you! If you're interested in learning how to ferment foods and incorporate them into your diet, this Chapter is for you! If you're just trying to eat less fast food, this Chapter is for you! Our focus is helping people eat fresh whole foods on a local and sustainable scale. We hold informational Chapter meetings and food preparation classes and workshops. We sometimes hold film-screenings or have guest speakers on the topics of real foods, sustainable agriculture, seasonal and local eating, food politics, nutrition, and holistic health topics. Potlucks, farm visits, and community volunteer projects are also on the calendar. We participate in group buys as a way to make eating real food more economical. We want to create a dynamic community who loves real food and holistic health.
