We had a great time at the girls spring break retreat last weekend! We fished, hiked, and learned a lot about how God used the least likely women in the Bible to accomplish his great plans for his people! We wrapped it up by watching the Hunger Games movies as an example to the girls that no matter how small and insignificant you might feel, there’s always a part for you in God’s plan!

Praise God for all that he does! Christ Soe decided to put her trust in Jesus forever and get baptized to today! This young lady has been through so much in her life and her story is too long to post here but hopefully one day she can tell it as a testimony of God’s faithfulness. We are beyond proud of her and the beautiful young woman she has become! We love you Christ Soe!!

We are so thankful for Diane Dawson and the ladies from Church of the City for coming out this weekend and hosting a sewing class for some of our refugees girls. They had so much fun learning how to make their own pants! Thankful for our community of volunteers who are willing to teach life skills to their neighbors!
