SUPRISE IT'S A FILLY.......No really surprise!
Mare we rescued last summer, skin and bones, decided to go ahead and have herself a baby. Not everything on the farm can be blamed on a grass belly.

I might be biased and believe she's one of the prettiest filles I've seen thus far, but again my believe is 100% factual.

Never know when saving 1 life can turn into 2.

Haven't had much movement on the fundraiser for Brinks Brewster our local farrier in this area. He was diagnosed with leukemia, has 4 littles and a wife he supports through his farrier career.

I know times are hard and extremely tight right now. Having cancer makes these times even harder financially on families.

Time for the horse community to come together to support our local KC farrier Brinks Brewster. Brinks was just diagnosed with leukemia. He has 4 very young children, his wife Laira Brewster and their farm that he supports through his farrier job and odd jobs that he helps his clients with, because he has a big heart himself.

Our rescue is hosting a fundraiser where 100% of the money we raise is going straight to Brinks and his family. We've secured 30 slots, and now need $50 to fill each of those slots. Essentially need 30 people to donate $50!

First weekend of summer break which means rescue season is in full swing. Got this darling in from Sikeston, mo.
Clearly from the pictures can see this is the only life she's known and it's a heartbreak. A hard life of starvation, untreated medical needs, and having more litters than she should had.
She's an old soul who just wants a soft bed, soft food, and soft pets.

These two love birds aren't catching a clue they need to move on. First time we made our acquaintance both fell out of our huge front yard tree (splat). They were relocated to a new area on the property. Apparently they made the great trek back, because they were caught being highly inappropriate in the road right in front of our gate. They have once again been relocated, fingers crossed they don't return.
(Note: Only relocating for their safety because of our dogs. We don't mind rat/black snakes).
