It’s another great day to be a Crest Ridge Cougar!

On Monday, November 24, 2025, Crest Ridge community members and members of Crest Ridge Education Foundation connected with the students, teachers, and faculty within the Crest Ridge Schools. This year's classroom grants were awarded in the total amount of $10,269.51! Teacher Retention Grant Scholarships for three support staff were also awarded for a total of $1,500.

2025 Crest Ridge Academic Banquet-The Crest Ridge Education Foundation(CREF) helped financially sponsor the first Academic Banquet on May 6, 2025. Sixty-nine Academic scholars and their families attended this banquet. The CREF donated $781.25 toward catering this academic event. Congratulations to all the scholars recognized at this event.

On May 19, 2025 three Crest Ridge Faculty were recognized in receiving the Crest Ridge R-VII Education Foundation Teacher and Support Staff Scholarships.

CREF Teacher Scholarship
These scholarships are funded by the Teacher Retention and Recruitment Grant that is intended to encourage and assist teacher(s) within the Crest Ridge R-VII School District with a specialized or advanced degree in an appropriate field of study or in a high needs area, such as math, science and special education. This scholarship may also be available to teachers wishing to become a dual credit instructor in their field of instruction.

Receiving teacher scholarships are Mr. Jared Werges($1,000) and Ms. Brea Duffy($1,239) from the Secondary School.

Both are pictured with Ms. Jenny Steward, CREF member, Mr. Frank, Secondary Principal and Mr. Odle, Secondary Assistant Principal/Athletic Director.

The Crest Ridge Education Foundation Support Staff Scholarship is also funded by the Teacher Retention and Recruitment Grant and is intended to encourage and assist a member of the support or classified staff of Crest Ridge in attaining a degree or certification in education.

Receiving the Support Staff Scholarship for $1,000 is Mr. Luke Schaberg, pictured with Ms. Jenny Steward, CREF member, Mr. Frank, Secondary Principal and Mr. Odle, Secondary Assistant Principal/Athletic Director.

Calling all SENIORS! Did you know that the Crest Ridge Education Foundation has a scholarship? Well, we do, as well as so many others that are available for you to apply for.

Make sure to check in with the school counselor to see what is available. Our application is located in her office and is due by April 21st. Dual credit scholarships are also available. Don’t miss out on some college $, apply now!

We welcome all and love having new faces join us, that may have suggestions/ideas. Everything we do is for the students, teachers, staff and school.
