This is a place to ask hard questions and be welcomed as you are. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month to talk about a different topical discussion. This is a safe place to be yourself and have challenging but engaging conversations, as well as to meet new friends throughout the city. The third week of the month, we will gather for a social outing of some kind. We'll promote this at our fi
rst Wednesday meeting, as well as on Facebook, Instagram, and our website. Code of Conduct:
- Everyone should be respectful of others and the community goals (see our About section). Any speech (eg racial slurs, hate speech, dehumanizing, discriminatory, etc) disregarding the goals of the group, will be addressed by leadership. If no change is seen, you may be asked to leave.
- We are here to discuss hard topics and it is ok to disagree. However, please remember to love the person more than you hate your their position. We’re all here to grow, and at times, we can each be in the wrong.
- During discussions, the moderator has the final say and holds ultimate authority over the discussion.
- If at any time, if you see conduct that does not meet our group standards please let leadership know so that we can address it and take care of the issue. (eg sexual harassment etc)
