As we conclude our final market this evening, we would like to shout-out a new vendor, Knox Berry Farm. We are especially grateful for their support during a critical time when our produce was vital to fulfilling our senior tokens initiative. Pam and her family stepped in and supplied some amazing produce. This evening they will have squash, tomatoes, cabbage, peppers, pumpkins and red raspberries. Knox Berry Farm also operates a u-pick business and market at 11895 Bryant Road, Mt Vernon. Come visit our market this evening, 4:30-7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg.

Let’s take a minute to shout out another new vendor to the Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market before we close our season this evening. Stillwater Market joins us during the second half of the season offering einkorn chocolate chip cookies, sourdough loaves, sourdough bagels, honey, coffee and produce. I might add, they have their own roadside stand offering all their products 24/7 at 9304 Bennington Chapel Road, Centerburg. You can check current weekly stock and pre-order details on the official Stillwater Market Instagram and page. Let’s do a vendor shout-out before our season ends this evening. We have enjoyed Tommy and Charlette, the owners and growers of TC Gardens located on Sycamore Road. After recently getting married, they both became passionate about growing their own flowers for their August wedding, and are very excited to offer their fresh-cut floral bouquets at our market.

As a reminder, the last Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market takes place this evening from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg. We hope to see you to support TC Gardens and our other wonderful local vendors!

Let’s take a minute to shout out another vendor before we close our season this evening. New to the market is Schauer Farms providing sweet corn, a produce favorite. Look for Austin tonight as he will have sweet corn, Indian corn and pumpkins to sell. He also offered maple syrup which I heard was very good but I did not get to try as he sold out! We are thankful for our new vendors to help us grow the market and round out the second half of the season! Let’s take a minute to shout- out our vendors one more time before the season ends this week.

We love to see returning vendors and this season marks our second year of hosting Bees & Bakes. Owner, Cheryl is a third year bee keeper located in Centerburg who lightly filters local raw wildflower honey spun from her hives. She is eager to share their honey and beekeeping business so don’t hesitate to ask. In 2023, she began baking sourdough and fell in love with all things sourdough. Cheryl bakes artisan bread, bagels, English muffins, focaccia, sweet breads, sandwich loaves, scones, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and more. Cheryl also has her own roadside stand featuring all her products at 6543 Bishop Road, Centerburg. Visit us tomorrow evening, September 3 4:30-7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg. Her items tend to sell quickly so get to the market early!

Last call for the Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market for the 2026 season as tomorrow evening will conclude our market. What an awesome season we have had! The weather has cooperated, and we are so thankful for the increase in both our vendors and shoppers. Thank you to the many shoppers, sponsors, vendors, Heart of Ohio Business Association, Village of Centerburg and our Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market Manager and Committee who make this market possible! Please consider attending tomorrow night as we bid farewell to our local vendors until next year. They have some amazing products to offer and sweet corn will be available again as well as red raspberries! Look at the menu below and come visit Thursday evening September 3, 4:30-7:00 pm at Bell Park in Centerburg.

Check out the Heart of Ohio Business Association (HOBA) table as they will have information regarding the Centerburg Cookie Walk scheduled in December as well as information about HOBA membership.

SENIORS 60+ if you currently have senior tokens to spend, please bring those tomorrow evening to redeem or turn into us. We have a substantial amount to collect and that is critical in regards to future programming. Please spend or bring us your tokens tomorrow evening! PLEASE!

Let’s take a minute to shout out our vendors one more time before the seasons ends tomorrow.

New to the market this year is Nora Lane Bakery specializing in rustic sourdough loaves and small-batch sweets, Nora Lane Bakery is owned by Maggie, who named the business after her great-grandmother Nora, as a tribute to her family's heritage and commitment to slow living and handmade food. Each baked good is carefully crafted to be shared with others. Be sure and say hello to Maggie, she the one who is always smiling and delight yourself in those lemon/ blueberry cookies before they are gone! I’m always to late! Follow Maggie on Facebook too.

Let’s take a minute to shout-out our Heart of Ohio Farmers’ Market vendors one last time before the market ends this week.

This season we have had something new brewing as we welcomed a new vendor to the market, Deep Blue Coffee. Deep Blue Coffee Roasters is a small-town, veteran-owned coffee roasting company dedicated to treating people right and producing exceptional, fresh roasted coffee! They source high-quality coffee beans and craft small-batch roasts with bold flavor.
