Good morning Members:
As a substantial snowstorm will arrive later today, please be reminded that the volunteers will be out plowing throughout the storm. Please park your cars in your yards or in an empty lot near your residence. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE YOUR CARS INTO THE ROADWAY TO CLEAN THEM OFF! We are a small park with limited area to push snow out of the roads. Please do not harass or berated the plow drivers as they are volunteers and do the best they can. As always feel free to volunteer to shovel or assist with any park clean up. We are a community so please help your neighbors if you are able.

Good morning members. This is just a reminder that starting January 1, 2026 the lot rent will increase from $440 per month to $450 per month as voted on by the membership. If you have any questions please reach out to a board member.

Good Morning Members! Due to the heat still not being repaired at the clubhouse, we will have to cancel the Annual Christmas Party scheduled for today. We apologize for the late notice, but were hopeful that the repairs could be completed in time. All of the gifts from Santa will be delivered by his elves (The Social Committee) on Christmas Eve Day. Merry Christmas to all!

As a reminder to all OMEC members, this is a volunteer park. The board members do not get paid nor do they receive any compensation for their service to the park. It is up to ALL members to help when ever or wherever it is needed. It accomplishes nothing to complain about what you think the board members are or are not doing. You can always help to make our park a happier place!

Good afternoon members. As many of you know the prices of everything are rising and we have neighbors in our community that are struggling. To assist with this we have decided to start a community food pantry. If you or someone you know have a need for non perishable food items or if you have something to donate please contact any board member.

Good Afternoon Members! For those of you receiving the summer weekend food bags, this week was the last week. I believe that the bags are continuing through the school year, but the distribution of the bags will be done through the school on Fridays ~ Marie

Good Morning, Members! There will be a mobile food bank at St Joseph's Church on Tuesday, 07/15, 12pm - 2pm for anyone in need. This is a mobile event, so the food will be loaded into your car. The only information that will be collected is your town and number in your household. In the past, they have allowed pick up for up to 2 families ~ Marie

Good Morning! This week's summer food bags will be distributed today. I will not be available for pickup at the clubhouse for the full hour today, so I will actually be dropping off the bags this week, starting at around 10:15 a.m. Next week, we will go back to the 11am-12pm clubhouse pick up ~ Marie

Update: The first delivery of bags will be this week. I will pick up the bags from OCC, and they will be available for pick up on Thursdays at the Clubhouse, 11am-12pm. If that time does not work for you, please reach out to me directly, and we can make other arrangements. That time worked out well for all but one family last year, so I'd like to stick with that if possible.

Good Morning, Members! End 68 Hours of Hunger will once again be providing weekend bags of non-perishable foods similar to what was done last year. This year, the program will go beyond elementary-aged students to include Middle and High School students as well. Please let me know if you would like to participate in the program this year. All that is needed is the number of participating children in your home. The pickup will be at the clubhouse this year, as it was last year. More details to come, but please respond ASAP so that we can get an accurate count for the program. You can respond to this post or send a DM if you would prefer anonymity ~ Marie
