šŸ‚ DON’T GO WHEREVER THE WIND BLOWS! šŸ’Ø

It’s amazing how easily a little wind can send leaves flying in every direction. But sometimes, we allow the same thing to happen in our walk with Christ.

One opinion changes our direction. One difficult circumstance shakes our faith. One new teaching pulls us away from what we know is true.

šŸ“– Ephesians 4:14 (NLT) reminds us not to be like children, ā€œtossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching.ā€

The answer isn’t to figure out which way the wind is blowing. It’s to be rooted in the truth of God’s Word!

The winds will change. God’s Word won’t.

🌳 Stay rooted. Stand firm. Know what you believe.

šŸ’Ŗ MEN, IT’S TIME TO GET TOGETHER!

Men’s Bible Study is TONIGHT at 6:30 PM! šŸ“–šŸ”„

Men, we weren’t meant to walk through life alone. We need brothers who will encourage us, challenge us, pray with us, and help us grow stronger in our walk with Christ.

Whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or you’re just getting started, there’s a place for you at the table!

šŸ‘Š Make the time. Bring a friend. Show up ready to grow.

God didn’t give you a gift just so you could protect it, preserve it, or bury it.

He gave it to you to USE.

The question isn’t just, ā€œWhat has God put in me?ā€
The question is, ā€œWhat am I doing with what He gave me?ā€

Use it. Invest it. Multiply it.

Stop burying what God intended you to multiply.

šŸ“– Matthew 25:14–30

Sunday we talked about the danger of allowing excuses to keep us from the potential God has placed in us.

Here’s the difference:

A reason identifies the obstacle.
An excuse gives the obstacle authority.

The obstacle can be real.
The difficulty can be real.
The fear can be real.

But none of those things have the authority to decide whether you obey what God has called you to do.

The ten spies saw giants and said, ā€œWe can’t.ā€

Joshua and Caleb saw the same giants and said, ā€œThe LORD is with us. Do not be afraid of them!ā€ — Numbers 14:9

Same obstacle.
Different authority.

Stop giving your obstacles authority God never gave them.

Just because God seems quiet doesn’t mean He’s absent.

You may not see what He’s doing. You may not understand what He’s doing. But He has not stopped watching over you.

ā€œHe will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber.ā€ — Psalm 121:3 NLT

God hasn’t fallen asleep. He hasn’t forgotten you. Trust Him even in the quiet.

Making some tea tonight because my throat is a little sore—and I had a thought.

This tea kettle has a whole lot of potential sitting inside of it. It’s hot. It’s ready. It has everything it needs.

But it doesn’t do anybody any good until it gets poured out.

Don’t spend your life full of potential but never poured out.

God has put gifts, purpose, passion, and calling inside of you—not just to sit there, but to be used.

Let God pour out what He’s put inside of you—and see what He can make with it.

Don’t just have potential. Pour it out.
