Heads up, Greenfield neighbors β Arapahoe County has escalated to a Stage 2 Burn Ban, and that means ALL fireworks are illegal in unincorporated Arapahoe County. Stage 2 also bans all outdoor fires, including campfires, charcoal-fueled fires, warming fires, fires in permanent fire pits or grates, outdoor wood-burning stoves, and burning of any debris or yard waste. Please plan accordingly and help keep our neighborhood and open spaces safe this holiday. If you see fireworks being used, you can report it to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's non-emergency line at 303-795-4711. For any emergencies, call 911. All fireworks are illegal to use in unincorporated Arapahoe County with exception of permitted professional shows.

Extreme fire danger means one spark can start a wildfire. Stage 2 means no outdoor fires, including, but not limited to:
- campfires
- fires in constructed in permanent fire pits or fire grates within developed camp and picnic grounds and recreation sites
- charcoal-fueled fires
- warming fires
- fires in outdoor wood-burning stoves (chimney sparks or embers)
- prescribed burning of fence lines, fence rows, fields, farmlands, range lands, wild lands, trash, and debris
- no private fireworks use
