POOL NEWS UPDATE:
(This email was sent Tuesday to all homeowners who have a email registered with the property manager.)

Dear Four Lakes Residents -

Our community is currently operating under the State’s Safer at Home Guidelines. At this time, these guidelines do not allow for HOA swimming pools to be opened as we normally would over Memorial Day weekend.

The Village of Four Lakeshas a contract with a certified pool operator to make sure the pool is ready to be opened, once the Safer at Home guidelines have expired and/or swimming pools are allowed to open. However, due to the current conditions and restrictions surrounding Covid -19, we will only be able to open if the Board feels it can meet those restrictions and enforce them appropriately. For the time being, the pool is not going to open. If the decision is made to open, we will advise accordingly.

The pool will still be maintained as needed to keep a baseline of chemical balance and cleaning (but not heated) and will remain locked for access. The Board will review any new information it receives and will further evaluate and communicate its decision to the community regarding pool operation this season, at that time.

TODAY IS DUMPSTER DAY!!
PLEASE OBSERVE SOCIAL DISTANCING. WEAR YOUR MASK. 😷😷
Dumpster Day (2 trash trucks) are scheduled for today, Saturday, April 25th. The event is held in the pool parking lot from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. BUT: If the trash trucks are full before 12:00pm, the event will be over.

Please bring your pool pass or a piece of mail with your address on it and a photo ID.
There will be a line formed East bound on Otero Circle. Watch for signs and orange cones.

Accepted Items: Please bag or bundle all materials, Do not pack bags or bundles more than forty (40) pounds; Please cut all long pieces of material to lengths no longer than four (4) feet and bundle; Make sure items are from the below list of accepted items.

Type of Materials Accepted: Landscape/Yard Materials- Limbs, yard clippings, leaves, Wood, etc.; Construction Materials Wood, drywall, windows, doors, decking, flooring; Small appliances, metal flashing, metal furniture, household metals; Household Waste Household trash, furniture, linens, clothes, toys, bikes, play equipment (broken down into 4’ pieces);.

Type of Material Not Accepted: Landscape/Yard Materials-Concrete, brick, block, dirt, asphalt, rail road ties, large stumps, fertilizers, chemicals, rocks; Construction Materials-Concrete, paints/ stains, Chemicals; Metal Materials - Refrigerators, freezers, A/C units, any appliances with freon, lawn mowers; TV’s, Household Waste- Hazardous or bio-hazardous waste, needles, syringes, hot tubs; Automotive-Tires, car/truck batteries, vehicle fluids, motor oil plastic bottles, windshield glass.

This has morphed into an EVERY day thing...... weather permitting.

BIKE PARADE!!! Starting at 4 PM.
Assemble at your BUS STOP along Ortero/Phillips Circle. The group at the park baseball diamond will start .... in clockwise direction. Join in as it passes. Max duration will be 3 rounds. You can "drop" out where you started.

Due to the snowstorm and upcoming holiday, all Tuesday customers will not be serviced this week. We will pick up any extra bags next Tuesday. Please check your recycling calendar for your next scheduled pick up.

The Neighbors for The Streets at SouthGlenn is a neighborhood group formed for that very purpose. Their mission is to become well-educated about the redevelopment plans for The Streets at SouthGlenn; to learn, advocate, and collaborate together to build neighborhood awareness and make voices heard by the city and developer. PLEASE LEAVE YOUR RECYCLING OUT TO BE PICKED UP TOMORROW, 1/23/19.

Garage Sale Time!! Saturday, June 2nd.
Official start is 8 AM but those pros will be wondering the neighborhood earlier.
Clean out your garages and basements. Get your "stuff" organized and priced. Re-meet your neighbors.
There will be banners at the front of the community. Ads will be posted online. Feel free to put up your own signage directing folks to your street.
REMEMBER - NO in ground posts or signs penetrating the ground are allowed in the common areas (fines will be assessed). Ask before putting signs on anyone's property. And PLEASE remove your signs when the sale is over.

Pool Season is Here!!
The pool opens on Saturday, May 26th at 9:30 AM!!!
You can't miss the newly refurbished bathrooms and showers! They are functional and beautiful.
Ongoing pool hours are posted at the pool - they will be the same as last year.
Early adult swim begins in mid-June - we're waiting for warmer mornings!
