Doreen Katz Memorial Cancer Foundation The Foundation supports children whose parents are diagnosed with any form of cancer or have died from cancer by providing grants for education and therapy.

Today, school districts charge fees for items that were once a part of a schools' curriculum. Science and music fees, advanced placement classes, field trips, after school sports, and others are now additional costs to families. These fees have become difficult for families facing the increased costs of cancer treatments and other drugs. The Doreen Katz Memorial Cancer Foundation ensures that the

se children will receive a complete education through our grant program. The Foundation also provides the household with a certified therapist willing to give of their time to make sure the family as a whole, understands the cancer diagnosis and what lies ahead.

The Doreen Katz Memorial Cancer Foundation sends a sincere THANK YOU to Cancer League of Colorado for the grant we received this year! With all that is going on right now, it is extremely critical that our children of cancer patients have that voice outside the home that this grant will provide!
