Hence, twilight was nearly upon us and yet merriment was had by all!
Shakespeare in the WILD put on an outstanding performance last night of “The Comedy of Errors”! We had such an enjoyable evening once again showing our support to this talented group of actors who bring Shakespeare to the people! 300+ were in attendance and it was great to see community show up! We are so happy to support them with our Rotary Grant and so glad we were able to experience Shakespeare in the WILD!

Today we mourn the passing of Dolly Parton. She was many things, to different people, not just in the United States, but all over the world. When she partnered with Rotary international with her Imagination Library she helped spread the word about Rotary and how important literacy was for children of all ages. She will be missed greatly in so many ways! Rest easy Dolly. We will miss you but your legacy will live on.

Tonight 2 of our members attended the Volunteer Meeting for the equine therapy organization that our club supports, The Right Step. Even with the rain and hail the horses remained calm. We are grateful this opportunity came before us and we acted on it to help them complete their mission to support folks of all ages with the amazing experiences horses can provide all of us. Both volunteers and clients benefit immensely from their time with the horses!

Another super fun way to “serve” our community happened last night
with at least a thousand in attendance!. The 20th Annual Centennial Under the Stars event Centennial Rotary Club hosted the only adult beverage refreshment tent. Two shifts of our “supercool” Rotarians were able to keep smiles on their faces with the first shift in 100 degrees and in the sun. By the time the event finished there were only a few cans remaining. It was an epic event with 2 really good bands. Thank you Centennial for this opportunity to serve our community

Tonight a few Rotarians from our club and Rotary friend Tim came out to celebrate our friend Megan De La Rosa and her 2nd year Anniversary of Centennial City Lifestyle magazine. She has featured our club’s fundraising events several times, and we so appreciate her for that. Congrats! Community, connection, and collaboration Creates Lasting Impact!
