We are so excited to introduce our newest chamber member, Roost Eleven Eighteen! Owner Cassandra Osterholt has been an absolute pleasure to get to know on a business level through her work with WSU, owning her own business, and her participation in our Leadership In Action class (2025-2026). My name is Cassandra Osterholt, and I am the owner of Roost Eleven Eighteen, a mini mobile bookstore offering Blind Dates with Books, a bookmark charm bar, apparel, and other bookish merchandise. You will find me at events throughout Mercer County and surrounding counties, and I do private events too! 📚

👉I host my own bookish events as well, and my very first one is October 27th at the Lake Campus, celebrating the release of A Court of Splintered Harmony by Sarah J. Maas. Grab your tickets and join me and other book lovers!

Roost Eleven Eighteen began in 2021 as a blog where I shared my journey through anxiety and depression, hoping to help even one person feel less alone. Around that time, I was also finding my way back to reading, and through the blog I met wonderful people from across the country who became my friends. They encouraged me to start a virtual book club, and books became a bigger part of my life (zero complaints.) That led me to start my book business in March 2026.

Over the past several months, I have enjoyed connecting with fellow small business owners and book lovers, and I have had the opportunity to give back to Mercer County.

One of the best things about being part of the Laker family is seeing our alumni come back to campus! 💚💛 Last night’s Trivia Night brought a great group of Lakers back together, reminding us that the connection doesn’t end at graduation. We love seeing our alumni stay connected, make new memories, and continue to be part of the Laker family!
