We want to recognize our firefighters and their families, the men and women who miss holidays, traditions, and time at home so our community can celebrate in peace.

As we celebrate the reason for the season, we’re praying for every member on shift today. We are beyond thankful for your dedication to duty and your unwavering commitment to keeping Celina safe.

As always, our apparatus are staffed, ready, and honored to respond when you need us.

They say that a firefighter’s life is a gift to the community they serve. For those of us who knew Firefighter Swope, we know that gift was immeasurable.
We are calling on our friends, neighbors, and fellow first responders to stand with us as we say our final goodbyes. Whether you knew Swope personally, or were simply a citizen he stood ready to protect, your presence is a tribute to the sacrifice and heart of a hero.

In a historic development, the U.S. Senate has passed the IAFF-endorsed Honoring Our Fallen Heroes Act as part of the National Defense Authorization Act

The Celina Professional Firefighters Association extends our deepest condolences to the Lewisville Fire Department and the family of Firefighter/Paramedic Michael Swope. Michael was more than a firefighter and paramedic. He was a husband, a father of three, and a follower of Christ. He also served as a respected Field Training Officer and mentor, setting the standard through steady leadership, professionalism, and a servant’s heart.

Our thoughts and prayers are with LFD as you grieve the loss of one of your own. May God bring peace to his loved ones and strength to his brothers and sisters in the fire service. Rest in peace, Michael.

We’ve decided to postpone the Rally for Riley 5K to March 14, 2026! The decision to postpone was made between the Celina Professional Firefighters Association and the Celina Police Association in an effort to bring the best event forward as possible.

Needless to say, we appreciate your understanding and your flexibility. If you have already purchased a ticket and you will not be available that weekend please let us know and we will issue you a refund!

We are so excited to bring this event in March and we cannot wait to see you all there!
