Aries is a 2 year old Shepherd mix. She came in only weighing 32 lbs and is now a much healthier 46 lbs. She will still gain a little weight yet. Aries is housetrained, cratetrained, and rides great in the car. Her foster parents are working on her with leash training. She will need a fenced in yard or to stay on leash outside. Aries is very active and playful. She loves playing ball, tug with rope, and playing with the other dogs. She gets along with everyone, dogs, and cats. Aries is very affectionate and likes to be with you. She does jump up, although her foster parents are working with her on it. We think a home without small children might be best until she learns not to jump on them.

Aries has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on heartworm/flea prevention.

If you'd like to adopt Aries, please fill out an adoption application here: https://aplmercer.com/adoption-application

Trudy is still looking for her forever home!

Trudy is a 5 year old Doberman mix and is a medium sized dog. She came in weighing 62 lbs and is down to a much healthier 50 lbs. She does really good on leash and loves to go for walks. She does great riding in the car. She is good with other dogs and loves to play with her foster sister, Aries. She would do great as an only dog or with more submissive companion dog. She does fine with the cat in the foster home. Trudy loves kids and is the sweetest girl. We all love her and she deserves the best forever home. She loves to play fetch and carries around a little stuffie with her. She is cratetrained and housetrained, but does fine in the house uncrated.

Trudy has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on heartworm/flea prevention.

Please share and help these two seniors 💔🐾

The Dog Warden asked us to post these seniors. They are both sweethearts and need homes because their owner passed away. The little Chihuahua is “Maddie"- female, 14 years old, spayed and utd on shots. She only has three legs. The Rottie mix is “Mattley”- male, 12 years old, neutered and utd on shots.

They deserve to spend their last years with someone who will love them and give them all the care. If you have it in your heart to help one of them, please send us a DM with your contact information.
