Carlyle lake area southern IL
Morning hunt boat ramp at 5am (Details later this week)

Anyone interested please comment I can only take two each morning
We will be hunting out of a boat. Will need all appropriate license and none tox shot and at a minimum hip boots waders are preferred
I will have a cooler so bring water etc it will be warm

These two Vets had a great day on Carlyle lake! They hauled in over 200 white bass this morning and kept a good cooler full of good size fish! As always we appreciate all of our donors no matter how big or small it is your donations make a difference!

Freedom Lodge sponsored four veterans (and a helper) in the Sneads Ferry NC King Mackerel Tournament, Sunday, 16AUG2026. The team did not finish "in the money," but landed one King Mackerel, and one dolphin (mahi). Representing Cold War to Afghanistan (GWOT), the group smiled most of the day! They extended appreciation to FLO and applaud the FLO mission-- staying on task, on mission.

Yesterday we partnered with Wounded Warriors Project on a 36 veteran fishing event put on by Salmon Unlimited It was an absolutely epic day on the water The weather, crews and fishing were perfect The Vets set out at 0500 to get the early bite, and it was on The morning ended with 176 Salmon and trout in the box Epic Following the fishing, the group gathered for lunch, fellowship and giveaways Thank you Salmon Unlimited, WWP and Tropics restaurant, Uline and Bass Pro Shops for creating one awesome memory

Wanted to say thanks to Precision guide service for a successful trip this morning despite the storm’s and not so great weather! These two Marines still put some meat in the cooler!
FYI there will be some more catfishing or white bass trips coming available soon on Carlyle lake so keep your eyes peeled!
