Last night, our community had the chance to hear a debate among three worthy candidates to represent District I on the Modoc County Board of Supervisors. The candidates shared their goals and perspectives with a lively crowd at the Surprise Valley VFW Hall. Incumbent Supervisor Ned Coe and candidates Tanja Ramming and Edwin Allert answered community questions and shared how they would serve their constituents, if elected. Thanks to the Surprise Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Surprise Valley post for making this event possible!

You can hear the debate recording at 88.1 FM in Surprise Valley or online at kdup.org on the 3 different Sundays in May, ahead of the June 2 primary election:

May 3 @ 2 PM
May 17 @ 2 PM
May 31 @ 2 PM

The debate will also be archived on the station's website at a future date.

Get involved, get informed, and use your precious voice to vote for who will represent our district!
