Saturday, July 25th - SAVE THE DATE💥
We’re flippin’ flapjacks, scrambling eggs, frying ham steaks at the Cedarville Airport.
Top those pancakes with real butter & syrup , chase ‘em with hot coffee or orange juice. Visit with your neighbors and the pilots who fly-in.
This is a rain or shine event, and yes, this is the same Saturday as the famous Eagleville BBQ. HAVE BREAKFAST WITH US, DINNER WITH THEM, and enjoy everything Surprise Valley has to offer throughout the day.

Sunday is the Fort Bidwell Memorial Day BBQ. The Fort Bidwell Civic Club and fire department put on a first rate barbecue of chicken and ribs together with all the goodies [making] a wonderful meal.
Surprise Valley Service Club will be there to enjoy the meal, the day, and sell tickets [for a chance] to win this awesome Pedego E-bike.

Pam presented the SVSC 2026 Midwinter BBQ beneficiary proceeds to Jenny and Kermit. Jenny and Kermit are the founders and dynamite behind “Growing Modoc” a local nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting healthy active ethical youth.
The mission of Surprise Valley Service Club (SVSC) is to help serve and support our community of Surprise Valley.

We meet and have supper two times a month on the first and third Wednesdays. If you are interested in helping your community, or know of a need, please come join us for supper and friendship. We are also known as the Surprise Valley Supper Club.

2026 Midwinter BBQ in the books! Great teamwork with members and volunteers…so appreciated.
The meal was well received; steaks were tender & juicy, ranch beans received high reviews, and the desserts were over the top.
Thank you everyone for your contribution to your community. It is, after all, all about supporting our community. 🙌

Almond Croissant Bread Pudding and a Fresh Apple & Pecan Cake are headed to the fabulous desert buffet at our Mid-Winter BBQ. This evening, 5:30 until gone [8:ish]. Modoc District Fairgrounds Dance Hall, Cedarville. Looking forward to seeing you!

Next Saturday (2/21/26) is just around the corner, the presale tickets will disappear Friday evening. If you don’t have your tickets already, this is your chance to save a few buck$ while you are supporting your community and youth.
Note: We made a menu change, no Hawaiian rolls, we changed to the Brass Rail’s Basque Bread.
2nd Note: The desert buffet is second to none.
