Meet your 2026 Cedar Fest Parade Grand Marshal — The Martinez Family! ⭐ We’re honored to celebrate them for all they have done (and continue to do!) for Cedarville.

Carlos Martinez was born in Degallado in the state of Jalisco, Mexico. Carlos moved to Ohio in 2011 and worked in the restaurant business with his uncle in Marysville and Hillsboro for several years. He met his wife, Paulina, through his hometown church in Mexico, and they married in 2014. Carlos became an official U.S. citizen in 2015, followed by his wife in 2022. They moved to Cedarville in 2019 when they opened Lola's Mexican Restaurant. Carlos and Paulina have two children, Sofia and Carlos, and they both attend Cedar Cliff Local Schools-Cedarville, OH.

Carlos has served the community in many ways, including hosting the kindergarten class at his restaurant every year. He feeds the community in multiple ways through his restaurant and food trailer, and he really enjoys being involved in the community and raising his children here. He chose Cedarville as the place for his home and business because it is a really good town to raise his kids, and he enjoys supporting the people and the community.

The firework launch location has been moved slightly from previous years. The view from Cedarville Community Park will NOT change, but the area around the new launch location will be closed for safety.

🚧 Please stay outside the circle shown on the map. The area will be clearly marked on Sunday, September 6th.
