Rock and Wrap It Up Rock and Wrap It Up! is a global think tank, fighting hunger and poverty. We reduce the planet’s poverty footprint by reducing society’s carbon footprint.

Using greening tactics, Rock and Wrap It Up recovers food and other assets to agencies fighting poverty, increasing their operating budgets. This allows the agencies to hire more services such as tutors, social workers, job placement counselors and mental health counselors to attack the root cause of poverty. Since its inception in 1991, Rock and Wrap It Up has:

* Donated to over 43,000 shelt

ers and places of need
* Collaborated with 60 sports franchises, 150 bands, and 200 schools
* Collected more than 250 million pounds of food
* Fed more than 500 million people

Our partnerships include 150 music bands, 60 professional sports franchises including the entire National Hockey league, colleges including Columbia, UCLA, Univ. of Florida, hotel chains including Marriott, Grand Hyatt, Sheraton, television networks including NBC Universal and HBO. We wrote and helped pass the Federal Food Donation Act which encourages all federal buildings to feed the poor and not put food into land fill. is a 501 C 3 charity.

Working with Re-elect Melissa "Missy" Miller much thx to Jeana Piazza, Mgr of Trader Joe's Hewlett for donating 55 pumpkins to Kiwanis Five Towns. We purchased 205 small pumpkins for all of the students at Lawrence Public Schools 125th Anniversary # 4 school for their Halloween Party on 10/31. We split the cost with #4 schools PTA.
