We would LOVE for local NY/NJ troops to consider running a book drive with us. Every participating Girl Scout receives a fun patch!

Today we closed the doors to our very first headquarters… and with it, a chapter that shaped who we are.

This space wasn’t just four walls — it was where our mission came to life. It held dozens of events, hundreds of volunteer sessions, and most incredibly, hundreds of thousands of books that found their way into the hands of children who needed them most.

It was the first place we could truly call our own. A place filled with purpose, passion, laughter, long days, and even longer nights. A place where a small idea continued to grow into something so much bigger than we ever imagined.

Locking the door for the last time today was emotional — but it’s not the end of our story. It’s the beginning of a new chapter. One with even more opportunity to grow, to give, and to make an impact.

To every volunteer, donor, supporter, and believer — thank you. You are the reason we made it here. And you are the reason we’re able to keep going.

Here’s to where we’ve been… and everything that’s still ahead. 🤍📚

🚨 HELP NEEDED TODAY (10AM–12PM) IN HEWLETT! 🚨

Hindi’s Libraries is moving just a few blocks to our new location in Hewlett, and we need volunteers with larger vehicles (SUVs/vans/trucks) to help transport thousands of children’s books 📚

It’s a short time commitment and would make a huge difference as we set up our new space!

🎁 We’re also giving away brand new YA books (see flyer fo specific titles!) to local educators!

Sharing a glimpse of recent donations we’ve been so lucky to receive—made possible by our incredible community of supporters who believe every child deserves access to books, imagination, and opportunity.

Because of you, stories are reaching little hands that need them most.

Tomorrow, we turn the page and begin a brand new chapter as we relocate and continue growing Hindi’s Libraries. We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead—more books, more impact, and so much more love for literacy.
