WISE Division, NMRA The Wisconsin Southeastern (WISE) Division of the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA) is a 501(c)(3) organization serving modelers in SE Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Southeastern (WISE) Division, NMRA is a 501(c)3 organization which sponsors educational monthly meets for its members, as well as the public, at no charge. These monthly meets, held from September through April, provide an opportunity for the members and the public to get involved and learn more about model railroading as well as the real railroads. It is also the host of Trainfest (extra fare event) every November at Wisconsin State Fair Park.

Scalecoat Production Update + Back-in-Stock Alerts

A few more Scalecoat colors have been added, and we received our final blue pigment last week!

We’re still waiting on one remaining yellow pigment and a key additive needed for broader production. Once the additive arrives, we’ll be able to move much more aggressively on bringing colors back. Some colors may still have to wait on the remaining yellow pigment.

In the meantime, we’ve added Back-in-Stock Email Alerts to Scalecoat.com. Click “Email me when available” on any sold-out color you want. You’ll be notified when it returns—and those requests will also help us decide which colors to prioritize.

It is time for a heartwarming account..... Division member Mike Slater has been volunteering at the Caboose Museum in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. After discovering a section of an HO scale layout that had been donated to the museum years ago and remained in storage for approximately 15 years with no foreseeable opportunity for setup, Mike Slater took the initiative to gift it to a 14-year-old relative who is an avid enthusiast of the hobby. Recently, they collected the layout sections. On Saturday, Mike was delighted to receive a photograph of one of the sections already assembled, complete with original buildings and a functioning train. This serves as a testament to the importance of supporting the next generation within our hobby.

Friends, the Celebration of life for Gary Hendrickson will be held at the Racine Yacht Club, 1 Barker St, Racine, WI 53402 on Thursday April 30, 2-4pm.

Gary was very active in the NMRA where ever he lived.

Today we learned of the passing of Gary Hendrickson, he was our membership person for the WISE Division, NMRA. Gary previously was a member of the sunshine region and many other divisions of the NMRA where he moved to. The family mentioned there will be a celebration of life later this month, when we have full details we will pass them on.
