Update!
Wisconsin equine came out today and confirmed what i had thought. Ringo, STILL has an eye under there. There’s still some stitches left but the rest burst from infection. The eye lids were sewn folded in which caused the hair/eyelashes to be in there as well causing constant infection and irritation. The vet believed he probably has some fractures around the eye. Was a blunt force trauma. So i have him on some eye ointment, in 21 days because there was several confirmed with strangles where these two came from we will be testing them for strangles then. Each test is 350$. Once they are cleared from strangles we will be setting up a removal of the eye.

UPDATE! He is home and safe and being properly quarantined. Both of these boys were saved from the same kill lot. Wisconsin Equine will be out tomorrow to get a really good look at the paints eye. I have treated with penicillin and banamine in the meantime.
