Hopefully you had a chance to stop by the new addition to our vendor line up at Port Fish Days.
Tulip Café and Innovation Center at Hollander Chocolate served up Sundaes for a cause over the 3 day festival. Starting with a free sundae for Seniors on Fishgiving. All proceeds will be going right back to our non profits running the fish tents.
Stop in during business hours to try one of their many delicious menu items and give them a thank you for supporting our community!

PORT FISH DAYS 2027 NEEDS YOU.

We are incredibly proud of the success of Port Fish Days this year. Thousands of people came together to celebrate, reconnect and enjoy a tradition that has been part of our community for generations.

But there is something you may not have seen behind the scenes.

Several major volunteer leadership roles were left vacant this year, and those responsibilities were absorbed by just a handful of people who were already carrying full workloads of their own.

They stepped up. They filled gaps. They worked incredibly long hours. And they made sure the show went on.

But that is not sustainable.

When too few people are doing too many jobs, things will get missed and mistakes will happen. We ask for kindness and grace for the volunteers who gave so much of themselves to make this year's festival happen despite those gaps.

And now we need to be very clear: Port Fish Days 2027 cannot happen without more people stepping forward.

We currently need Volunteer Ambassadors to lead:

• Volunteer Coordination
• Rotary Park Watch Party
• Music
• Sponsorship
• Marketing
• Vendors at Veterans Park
• Thursday Night Veteran & Senior Fishgiving
• Makers Market
• Shuttle Coordination

These are not paid positions. Port Fish Days is built by people who believe this tradition is worth keeping alive and are willing to give some of their time and talents to make it happen.

We don't need a few people to do everything. We need more people willing to do something.

If Port Fish Days matters to our community, then it will take our community to continue it.

The question for 2027 isn't simply, “When is Fish Days?”

It's “Who will help make sure there is a Fish Days?”

Please consider joining us. The future of Port Fish Days truly depends on it.

Huge shout out to PORT YAMAHA who also supply additional UTV's for the volunteer leads to use in transporting, food, beverages and anything else needed for a great experience for our visitors to the festival.

The UTV came in especially handy during Saturday’s Fish Day event, helping our officers patrol the event area and keep our community safe. We truly appreciate the continued support of our local businesses and the partnership they share with our department.

Smart Mouth...
🎶 WHAT A WAY TO CLOSE OUT PORT FISH DAYS! 🎶

A huge thank you to our closing band for bringing the energy, the crowd interaction, and the kind of good vibes you could feel all across the lakefront!

Over at Rotary Park helping oversee our kid-focused fireworks watch party, and even from there, I could hear the music, feel the energy, and know that something pretty special was happening on that stage.

There’s a difference between playing music for a crowd and connecting with a crowd, and you absolutely connected ✨️

Thank you for giving Port Fish Days the send-off it deserved and ending an incredible weekend on such a high note.

You didn’t just close out the festival, you sent it out with a bang! 💥🫶🏽💥

🎉🐟 Well… the party’s over! 🐟🎉

The music has stopped, the crowds have gone home, the fish have been fried…and now comes everyone’s favorite part:

🧹 CLEAN UP! 😂

It takes a village to throw a party like Port Fish DayS, and apparently, it takes one to clean it up too!

So if you’re feeling energetic, generous, slightly guilty for having too much fun…or you just happen to own a pair of work gloves ALL OFFERS OF HELP WILL BE GLADLY ACCEPTED! 🙌😂

Many hands make light work, and tired volunteers VERY happy.
