Czechs Helping Children Czechs Helping Children Fundraiser: Friday, November 2nd The event will take place on Friday, November 2nd from 5pm-11pm at the Bakery.

Czechs Helping Children is a co-sponsored event hosted by the University of Iowa student organization, The Czech Connection, and the Sykora Bakery. Sykora has begun selling pizzas on Friday and Saturday nights, in addition to their tasty bakery treats, and staying open from 5pm-11pm. Representatives from the Czech Connection will be in attendance that night to speak about their organization and an

swer any questions. Half of the proceeds from this event will benefit the University of Iowa Children's Hospital through the University of Iowa Foundation. Freewill donations to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital through the UI Foundation will also be accepted. During the event, students from the Czech Connection will also read aloud excerpts from popular pieces of Czech Literature in both Czech and English.
