Republican legislators advanced a bill requiring schools to show students in grades 7-12 videos about the stages of fetal development, without any requirements that the videos be scientifically or medically accurate.

Meeting today 11AM at the state capital building. 2 minutes on the mic to speak your peace why this bill is an attack against the lgbtq+ community and harmful/dangerous for our children. If you don't want to speak, come and show your support. A Full House would show the senate that we will not back down. If you can't make it public comments can also be made here: https://www.legis.iowa.gov/committees/meetingPublicComment?meetingID=39290&action=viewCommitteePublicComments

Let Gov. Reynolds know how you feel by signing the petition Iowans for Reproductive Freedom started. We have to continue pushing back.

A 6-week abortion ban will soon be law in Iowa. I believe everyone deserves the right to make their own health care decisions and the Governor & Iowa GOP lawmakers have just gone too far. Please join me and fight back for our reproductive freedom.

The Iowa Board of Medicine’s guidelines on the abortion ban don’t help doctors navigate the reality of day-to-day care.
