For 75 years, the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation has worked to improve the quality of life in Linn County, Iowa.

In 2024, the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation celebrates 75 years of working to improve the quality of life in Linn County, Iowa. We partner with donors, funders, and other community collaborators to achieve high-impact philanthropy; support nonprofit organizations that address our community’s needs and opportunities; and convene people to learn, share ideas, and develop solutions for the

future. The Community Foundation is a public, nonprofit organization with over $212 million in assets and over 1,000 different charitable funds.

Fall Grant Cycle Is Open! 🍂

Local nonprofits: Now is the time to apply for fall 2026 grant funding from the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation!

Funding is available for Program and Organization Support Grants, Linn County Grants, Endowment Challenge Grants, and select competitive donor-advised funds.
