✨ **Soaring Toward Success: Changing Futures One Student at a Time** ✨

Meet a determined teen mom in foster care who is just weeks away from graduating high school early—all while caring for her infant. 💛

She’s working hard through a nontraditional program and preparing for her HiSET exams, but like many youth in foster care, she doesn’t have consistent academic support.

Through our **Soaring Toward Success** program, tutoring provides more than just help with homework—it offers:
📚 Guidance and encouragement
📅 Accountability to stay on track
🧠 Support in key areas like personal finance and reading
💪 Confidence to keep moving forward

With the right support, she can reach the finish line—and build a brighter, more stable future for both herself and her child.

🌟 **We’re looking for volunteer tutors to make stories like this possible.**
Even a small amount of your time can make a life-changing difference for a young person in foster care.

Here at Families Helping Families, we always look forward to Day of Caring because we get to work with great organizations that come in and complete tasks around the building that we could not do without them! A HUGE thank you to Graham Construction for painting our front offices, UFG for building shelves in our warehouse, and Collins for hanging up our shelving units in the little kids' room! You rock!🤘

And last but not least, we want to highlight Cody at Handyworks Remodeling and English Floors, who came in and helped us prepare, stayed and coordinated building and hanging shelves. You were a lifesaver!

We updated our Little Kid Room and have extra clothing racks available for free! If you are interested in them, please coordinate a time for pickup as they are in our warehouse. You must load and haul. We will try to update the post as clothing racks are claimed.
