If you know a student at Coe College, encourage them to sign up for recruitment so they can find their home among the 4 NPC organizations that have a chapter on campus; Alpha Gamma Delta, Alpha Omicron Pi, Alpha Sigma Alpha, and Delta Delta Delta. September is here which means Hunger Action Month has arrived! We hope you'll consider giving back in your community.

If you live in the Cedar Rapids area, we wanted to remind you that we have an ongoing donation drive for The Little Food Pantry at the Kirkwood Center for Lifelong Learning. If you have any non-perishable food or hygiene items that you would like to donate, you can bring them to any upcoming alumnae event including Flower Arranging on Wednesday, September 16th at Lion Bridge. ❤️💛💚

We've already had 2 great opportunities for Sisterhood this year. Lisa, Melissa, and Beth enjoyed our Brunch & Learn while Marissa and Chelsea had a great evening at Putts & Pours. If we haven't seen you yet, we hope we'll see you soon at our next opportunity for Sisterhood which is flower arranging.

On Wednesday, September 16th, we're bringing back last year's popular flower arranging event. Flower Arranging will be held at the Lion Bridge Brewing Co. Beer Garden (Patio) with social time at 6:30 p.m. so that anyone who would like to do so can order food and drinks before we get started with flower arranging at 7:00 p.m. It's BYOV (Bring Your Own Vase) if you have one and the flowers and shears (and extra vases if you need one) will be provided along with instructions from our own expert, Melissa. A few pizzas will also be provided but drinks are on your own.

We will be attending the rescheduled Putts & Pours at Mini Pines Mini Golf (3800 42nd St NE, Cedar Rapids). Andy Warhol, Jackie III, 1966
"One of the things I like about this work is that is it represents an iconic person of the 1960s (and beyond!) appropriated and re-presented by one of the most iconic artists of the twentieth century, Andy Warhol. It is one of only two works by Warhol in our collection, and it is a terrific piece! Wow, what a piece to have! In this work, Warhol appropriates four press images of Jackie Kennedy, both before and after the assassination of President Kennedy. By cropping the image close to the face, Warhol forces us to focus on the expression of Jackie, sharing in her grief, yet understanding we cannot fully comprehend the depths of her emotions. As a quintessential Pop Art work, drawing as it does from images drawn from popular culture, Warhol raises questions about image and brand, public vs. private, and consumer culture, long before those things were better understood and discussed."
