Mt Calvary is asking that all Memorial Day flowers and decorations be removed by Monday morning, June 15.

When an emergency occurs, it’s the blood already on the shelves that saves lives.

Today, we were activated by the Blood Emergency Readiness Corps (BERC) to send blood in response to the mass shooting in Midland, Texas. BERC is a network of blood centers that work together to ensure patient needs are met following a mass casualty event.

Our thoughts are with everyone impacted. Thank you to donors who make it possible for us to help our colleagues in Texas recover inventory sent in response to the shooting.

If you have garden produce that you would like to share with local families who need help with healthy food, we are ready for your donations!

Every Monday from 1:00pm - 2:00pm, we will have volunteers waiting at our dock to receive any of your garden bounty you would like to bring in. Getting it all fresh on Mondays allows us to sort and package your nutritious home-grown goodies for distribution to our neighbors in need on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

No need to call first if you are coming, just show up between 1:00 and 2:00. Please keep our Monday afternoon volunteers busy!
