*** Urgent Need ***

Lights On Cedar Rapids is growing. We've served hundreds of kids at McKinley middle school for our Friday night program, 6pm to 11pm every Friday! Basketball, football, art projects, soon to be baseball... but most importantly positive mentorship in a safe place and OFF the streets during high risk hours.

We need to take care of food for tomorrow night and due to many of the organizers being out of town for the holiday, we're going to order pizza. We need help covering that cost, and we need volunteers. Please consider helping, and coming out if you're in town tomorrow.

Please share! Let's rally around these kids, it's time to act, and this is a great opportunity to have an impact.

We are in the early stages of planning a cash for guns event. It will be a no questions asked and make it where the weapons will not be linked back to who turns it in. We’d like feedback on how this will be best executed and what will result in the best turnout.
