The Safe Place Foundation Our mission is to return recovered men to family and community. We are a 40 bed program; 6 Phase One beds and 34 Phase Two beds.

We provide a drug and alcohol free living environment with ongoing staff support, community volunteer involvement and peer-to-peer mentorship. We specifically serve adult males who are homeless or near homeless and in the early stages of recovery from alcoholism or drug addiction. Individuals come to The Safe Place Foundation from a variety of situations including inpatient treatment, a relapse episode, Drug Court, incarceration, or "off the street". We believe it is critical that these men have a longer term structured and monitored sober living environment where they can build a foundation of recovery and life skills.

Through employment, involvement in Alcoholics Anonymous, and a strong foundation in recovery, he has created a life better than he once imagined possible. The Safe Place Foundation is proud to support the new AA meeting at CRUSH Recovery Community Center! Other recovery fellowships are already represented through meetings at CRUSH, and we believe it is important for Alcoholics Anonymous to have a strong presence there as well. The meeting will be held every Monday at 5:30 PM at 1260 2nd Avenue SE. New meetings only grow when people show up and support them. We encourage members of the AA community to come out, participate, and help build a strong and lasting meeting at CRUSH. Recovery grows through community, and we’re stronger when we support one another.
