Big things are happening at Crescent Lodge! 🔨✨

The dust is flying and the demolition has officially begun as our historic lodge undergoes a much-needed makeover. We are beyond excited to see the transformation unfold!

2026 is shaping up to be a monumental year for us:
• 🎂 Celebrating our 175th Anniversary!
• 🏢 Settling into our new lodge home.
• 🏗️ Preparing for our upcoming Cornerstone Laying ceremony.

We can’t wait for the renovations to be completed so we can share this beautiful new space with all of you. Stay tuned for more updates and "under construction" sneak peeks!

There’s something powerful happening at Crescent Lodge. Over the past few weeks, Brothers have rolled up their sleeves, shared stories, and put in the work—side by side—to breathe new life into our Lodge. From sweeping floors to setting up sacred spaces, every nail driven and chair placed has been a testament to our shared commitment and love for the Craft.

But the work isn’t done—and neither is the story.

📣 If you haven’t been by in a while, now’s the time. Come see the progress. Feel the energy. Witness the transformation. Whether you’ve been away for a season or a few years, your presence matters. Your voice, your hands, your heart—they’re part of what makes Crescent Lodge a home.

Life gets busy. We know that. Work, family, health, and the unexpected can pull us in every direction. But here at the Lodge, your chair still waits. Your stories, your laughter, your wisdom—they’re missed more than you know. With all of the excitement of a new building and renovating and making it the newest Masonic home in Cedar Rapids we invite you back to be a part of it.

Freemasonry isn’t just about meetings. It’s about moments. The quiet nods of understanding. The shared memories. The sense of purpose that comes from standing shoulder to shoulder with men who believe in something greater than themselves.

🏛️ After a long and determined journey, Crescent Lodge and Crescent Janko finally have a new home.

It’s been a busy year for our officers, filled with vision, grit, and teamwork — and we’re proud to announce the purchase of our new building at 2801 6th St SW. Renovations are underway, and while there’s still work to do, the spirit of Crescent is already alive within those walls.

This isn’t just a physical space. It’s a promise: Crescent Janko will now have a permanent home to continue uplifting the children of Linn and Johnson Counties — offering support, mentorship, and hope for years to come.

Last night at Crescent Lodge, we welcomed a new Brother into the world’s oldest (Ryan Brown) and greatest fraternity as an Entered Apprentice, and celebrated another Brother’s journey to the degree of Fellowcraft (Evan Gagle).

Freemasonry lives on—strong and purposeful—right here in Cedar Rapids. We’re honored that these men chose the path of self-improvement, leadership, and service. Crescent Lodge is proud to be a beacon of tradition and transformation.
